At the invitation of Their Majesties The King and Queen of the Belgians, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, HE Herr Joachim Gauck and partner Ms Daniela Schadt will pay a state visit to Belgium from 8 to 10 March 2016. They shall visit Brussels, Antwerp, Mechelen, Liège and Eupen.
The visit is being prepared by the German bilateral mission in Belgium in collaboration with the relevant Belgian authorities. HE Ambassador Rüdiger Lüdeking and Military Attaché, First Lieutenant Heino Matzken will accompany the presidential couple during their stay.
