Thursday, 6 June 2019, Helsinki, Republic of Finland: The leader of the Social Democratic Party Antti Rinne was sworn in as prime minister by President Sauli Niinistö. Rinne shall lead a merely 18-minister cabinet with a female majority, a first for Finland.

The five-party coalition has a comfortable 117-seat majority in the 200-seat Parliament yet could face political cohesion challenges.
