Thursday, 22 December 2016, Principality of Andorra: Former Brussels-based Andorran ambassador to the Benelux countries, the EU, Germany and Slovenia, Eva Descarrega García, has been sworn-in as “Minister of State Relations and Administrative Reforms” (in Catalan Ministra de Funció Pública i Reforma de l’Administració). Her former position was an Undersecretary at the Ministry of Justice, Social and Internal Affairs.

Head of Government, Antoni Martí lauded Eva Descarrega for having a well-rounded experience as well as the necessary skills to continue to simplify and streamline the system of state administration and administrative reform, including e-government. Minister Descarrega joined the Andorran civil service more than 20 years.
