Friday, 8 March 2019, Berlin, Germany: Her Highness Princess Ubolratana Rajakany, sister to HM The King of Thailand, a paid a visi to the Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI)’s promotional booth standing at the International Tourism Börse (ITB)’s Thai Pavilion, located within Berlin Expo Centre (Messe Berlin) and was welcomed by Mr Ekniti Nitithanprapas , THAI Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr Sumeth Damrongchaitham, THAI President, together with THAI Management and staff from office in Frankfurt and Munich.
This year, THAI’s promotional booth was decorated under the concept “The best rest is an uninterrupted one” – Fly THAI to Thailand, enjoy a proper rest, arrive refreshed and ready for business or pleasure.
ITB Berlin is the world’s largest tourism convention that provides unique opportunities as the world leading travel trade show of the global tourism industry.
On the sidelines of ITB 2019, HE Weerasak Kowsurat, Thai Minister of Tourism and Sports, partook at the Thailand Networking Luncheon, and during his address highlighted that ”
the Royal Coronation Ceremony for His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn (Rama X), which will take place between May 4 and 6.
On the fourth of May, a time to celebrate not only by the Thais but from the world, His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn will be officially crowned as King Rama X of the Chakri Dynasty, according to traditions governing the monarchy.
The earliest process in the preparation of the Royal Coronation Ceremony is to collect water from different important sources in the Kingdom, which will be combined and blessed to be used for the Purification Ceremony for the Royal Coronation Ceremony.Many of these series of events will be broadcast through media but nothing can be compared to being there as a part of the activities or at least go visit the places where the holy water is collected throughout the country”.
