Wednesday, 10 June 2020, Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Germany: Dr. Peter Tschentscher was elected First Mayor of Hamburg by the Hamburg State Parliament (Bürgerschaft). Consequently he appointed the members of the Senate (state government) who were subsequently confirmed by the Hamburg State Parliament.
