The actual exchange of vows took place on 12 April at the Istana Nurul Iman, namely in the throne room of the Sultan’s 1,788-room palace, the largest “residential” palace in the world located in Bandar Seri Begawan, the sultanate’s capital.

Pengiran Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah, a former data-analyst and IT instructor, held a bouquet, made out of gems and precious metals in the shape of flowers. Allegedly the bride  wore Christian Louboutin shoes encrusted with Swarovski crystals and finished with a gold ankle bracelet. The translucent veil was reportedly topped with a second diamond tiara, set with rubies and a scarlet gem in the center. She also had a second diamond rope-like necklace.
