Conferral of The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon upon the Honourable Mr. Jan Hendrikus Cornelis van Zanen, Mayor of Utrecht
On Friday 27 May, at 17:30 hrs, the Honourable Mr. Jan Hendrikus Cornelis van Zanen, Mayor of Utrecht Chairman of the Association of Dutch Municipalities, Former Mayor of Amstelveen, will receive a decoration during a ceremony in the residence of the Japanese Ambassador, Mr. Hiroshi Inomata.
In the name of His Majesty The Emperor of Japan, he will be decorated in “the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon”, in recognition of his significant contribution to strengthening economic relations and promoting mutual understanding between Japan and the Netherlands.
