Brazil’s ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg has been interviewed by Tvbrussel at his residence on Avenue de Tervuren/Tervurenlaan.
Ambassador André Mattoso Maia Amado hails from Rio de Janeiro, has an extensive diplomatic career behind and ahead of him. He holds the rank of Ambassador since 2001. His first ambassadorship took him to Peru in 2001, followed by Japon in 2005. In 2008 he was appointed Under-Secretary General for Energy and High Technology.
His Excellency took up his ambassadorial post in Brussels/Luxembourg in 2011.
