The National Assembly has unanimously approved the MoU recently signed in Mexico City as part of the Venezuelan negotiation process between the Government and opposition groups represented by the Unitary Platform of Venezuela. The current process of dialogue has been facilitated by Norway and held in Mexico City; the Memorandum of understanding has been signed on August 13 by both parties represented.
The President of the Venezuela Parliament, Jorge Rodriguez who is also the official envoy of the government, declared that Venezuela is committed to an inclusive dialogue. His declarations goes in the same direction of president Nicolas Maduro constant calls to respect the life of the population, the constitution, the preservation of peace and territorial integrity of Venezuela.
