As an employment law attorney with a focus on internationals, what unique challenges do your clients face in the Netherlands?

Growing up abroad has given me a broader perspective on cultural sensitivities and communication styles. Being an international myself, I decided to focus on an international practice within our firm In a time when many law firms did not yet do so. Understanding your rights and obligations, as well as the expectations of Dutch employers, is crucial. It’s also important to familiarize yourself with the terms of your employment contract and to be aware of the legal protections available to you in the Netherlands.
