Peru’s rich culinary heritage returns to Hilton The Hague as Blue Blood Restaurant presents the eighth edition of the Peruvian Food Festival on Friday, 24 July. The event will once again be led by Peruvian Chef de Cuisine Luis Rojas, whose passion for authentic Peruvian gastronomy has made the festival one of the restaurant’s most anticipated culinary events.

Born and trained in Peru, Chef Rojas refined his skills in Lima and at the renowned Le Cordon Bleu before building an international career that included Hilton Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. Today, he brings that global experience to The Hague, combining traditional Peruvian recipes with refined culinary techniques while remaining faithful to the authentic flavors of his homeland.

This new edition of the festival invites guests to discover why Peruvian cuisine is considered among the world’s finest. An extensive buffet will showcase a wide selection of regional specialties, highlighting Peru’s remarkable diversity of ingredients and culinary traditions. Throughout the evening, live music and a traditional Peruvian band will create an atmosphere inspired by the country’s rich cultural heritage.

One of the highlights of the evening will be Chef Rojas’ exclusive “Make Your Own Ceviche” workshop, where guests will learn the techniques behind Peru’s internationally renowned national dish. Chef Rojas has also received the Authentic Peruvian Cuisine Certification, recognizing his dedication to preserving the genuine character of Peru’s gastronomy.

“Every dish tells the story of Peru’s people, traditions, and extraordinary natural ingredients,” says Chef Rojas. “It is a pleasure to share that story with our guests and invite them to experience the true flavors of my country.”

The Peruvian Food Festival – 8th Edition will take place on Friday, 24 July, at Blue Blood Restaurant, Hilton The Hague, with seatings at 18:00 and 20:30. The price is €69.50 per person.

For lovers of fine cuisine, the festival offers an evening where authentic flavors, Peruvian hospitality, and outstanding culinary craftsmanship come together in the heart of The Hague.
