Ms. Irene Mkwawa Kasyanju is a lawyer by profession and holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Relations & Diplomacy from the Centre for Foreign Relations in Dar es Salaam. Ambassador Kasyanju served briefly as a State Attorney with the Attorney General’s Chambers & Ministry of Justice of Tanzania before joining the Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tanzania in April 1987.
