Felleshus, Complex of the Nordic embassies in Berlin: To mark 100 years of Icelandic sovereignty, the Icelandic mission to Germany is displaying the multimedia exhibition titled “Magna – Creating Iceland”. The volcanic country lies simultaneously on the North American and Eurasian plaques, making volcanic eruptions so special in Iceland.
The exhibition was opened by the Icelandic Foreign Minister Guðlaugur Þór Þórðarson accompanied by Ambassador to Germany, Martin Eyjólfsson.
Magma – Creating Iceland is accessible until 1 July on working days from 10 – 19h and on weekends and holidays between 11 – 16h.
